A Step by Step Guide to Power Resume Search & Online Recruitment Process Management
Step 1: Sign up for HireMantra Account - You can start at Zero cost

Step 2: Connect your Job Applications Emails to HireMantra account

HireMantra platform automatically collects hundreds of resumes that you receive via job portals, referrals or direct emails to your company jobs email address.

After automatic collection, HireMantra gives you most relevant resumes on top in response to your search queries by automatically understanding & intelligently organizing all the information in the received resumes/applications (pdf, doc, docx, rtf, text and html).

Please follow these simple steps to enable automatic collection

Step 1. Collect a list of all the email accounts where you receive job applications / resumes from all sources such as job portals, referrals or direct emails.

Step 2 In each of these email accounts, setup email forwarding for all job related emails to "Your HireMantra Super Collector Email Account".

You would have received your super collector email address for your account in your welcome email (It reads something like yourdomainddmmyy@career-pages.com)

Steps to set up email forwarding depends on your email account or software such as outlook. Contact your IT manager for steps to setup email forwarding for your company job email accounts or look for your email software help.

After you have setup up email forwarding for your job applications/resumes and you do not see these new applications/resumes in your hiremantra account within next 10 minutes, please contact HireMantra support immediately at support@hiremantra.com

 

Step 3: Create Job Openings on HireMantra & Enable Job Seeker Portal
Your account comes with a very advanced job seeker portal that you can link to your website.

On this portal job seekers can search for jobs & apply for jobs online. All the applications are available at your hiremantra platform along with all the other applications that you receive on all your channels.

To post a job, simply use post job feature to add a job to your account. The job instantly appears on your website.

Every job is assigned a unique job id that you can use to automatically integrate applications from all sources. (see below)

 

Step 4: Direct All Resumes / Applications from all sources to your Account

Every job that you post on HireMantra platform is assigned a unique job id that you can use to automatically integrate applications from all sources.

Job portals
Most of the job portals provide a field for job reference id in the posting form.

When you post a job of such portals please use the unique id generated by hiremantra platform for such portals. For other portals who do not have reference id facility, simple mention this unique job id somewhere in the job title.

The trick is that if the subject line of application email that you receive from any channel contains unique job id generated by hiremantra platform.

If HireMantra finds the job id anywhere in the email subject, the resume and application is automatically tagged to that job.

If the resume email does not contain job Id in subject line, there is nothing to worry. This resume becomes part of resume database and gets indexed any way and is available for your search instantly.

Referrals
You can open up referrals for the jobs by simply instructing your employees and associates to mention unique job id (see above) in the subject and mention “Referral” keyword somewhere in the the subject line.

The hiremantra platform will automatically tag the application / profile against the person who referred this resume.

Referral reports can be used for incentive calculations and tracking Emails
Simply set up email forward to your hiremantra platform email account (usually yourdomainddmmyy@career-pages.com)

All resumes forwarded to this email would automatically become part of your hiremantra resume and application database DOC/PDF/ DocX / RFT / Text

Resumes on your hard drive
Hiremantra platform provides you are very easy import facility where you can import resumes one by one or as a zip file.

After upload the system automatically indexes all these resumes in intelligent database and makes them available for super fast search

 

Step 5: Start Search & Shortlisting with Hiremantra Super Search

Hiremantra resume search is on the the most powerful resume search tools available in market place to get to right resume faster.

As soon as you setup automatic collection of your resumes in step 2, Hiremantra starts collecting and indexing all the resumes / applications it receives and makes them available into your resume database for easy search
 

Step 6: Use Super Search Option to Search Faster

HireMantra search uses Artificial Intelligence to give you better results then any other resume search out there.

For example, if you search for "Java" a resume of applicant that has worked in Java would appear before a candidate you have merely mentioned Java as part of his/her skills section of the resume.

Use can use following advanced options to add more power to your search and reach to right resumes really fast

1. Search for any of the keywords that you type in search box

This option would search all resumes that have one or more the key words that you type

2. Search for all of the keywords that you type in search box

This search would return resumes that contain all the key words that you type. To enable this option, simply choose "all words" from radio button below search box or simply place a + sign before the keywords that are a must in search results. For example, if you type, java + j2me as search strings it will show all the records for java where j2me must appear somewhere in resume.

3. Exact Keyphrase -

This option would search all resumes that have all the keywords that you type in exact same sequence. To enable this option, simply choose "exact phrase" from radio button below search box. To enable this option, simply choose "all words" from radio button below search box or simply enclose the search string in double quotes. For example, "java developer"

4. Eliminate results that contain a particular key word or phrase -

You can use this option to eliminate resumes from search that contain specific keyword or key phrase. To use this option simply add minus sign "-" in front of the keyword that you want to avoid. For example, if you type java -microsoft in search box, the results would show most relevant resumes for Java keyword where microsoft does not appear any where in resumes.

5. Advanced Combination Search -

You can use all the above four options combined to add super power to your search

For example if you can advanced query such as .Net +mobile -cell +"super expert" in search box, it would return all the records that must have must have "mobile" keyword, must not have "cell" keyword and must have exact keyphrase "super expert" in it.

Step 7: Manage Recruitment Process
